Biggie Smalls Biopic Notorious Gets a Trailer

I had heard that Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy, was trying to get a biopic on his late-buddy the Notorious B.I.G. (aka Biggie Smalls, aka Christopher Wallace) made, but I hadn’t heard much on it until now, when the trailer shows up online. It’s your usual rags to richies to death movie, chronicling the big man’s rise from ghetto poverty to the big time to his eventual, untimely death at the bullets of unknown assailants. His murder is still unsolved, right? Anyways, here’s the trailer. The music, of course, is fantastic, and the film has a good director behind the cameras. This should be a big hit.

The life and death story of Notorious B.I.G. (a.k.a. Christopher Wallace), who came straight out of Brooklyn to take the world of rap music by storm.

Newcomer Jamal Woolard plays the big man himself, Antonique Smith is his wife Faith Evans, and the ubiquitous Derek Luke is Sean Combs.
