A remake would be bad. VERY Bad! A new story, in the crow mythos, not so bad. But give me a good story and a decent director, and actor. Out of the sequels for the original I only liked The Crow: Salvation with Eric Mabius and the wretched Kirsten Dunst. I liked it because it wasn’t a complete rehash of what we’d seen before. It was a mystery at first as we, nor the main charatcer didn’t know who did it (though it was rather obivous). Wicked Prayer had a good idea and good source material but was badly done. So don’t make this the story of Eric Draven again. Don’t even make it similar. Make it completely original but with the same themes of revenge, love, and redemption.

I have to agree they will ruin this Graphic novel and film and most likely turn it emo The crow is not emo it has a dark gothic edge to it.The crow was Brandon Lee he betrayed the charecter in the correct light and i dont think its fair to remake it and put a pretty boy in this role who possibly has never read the Graphic novels.

trying to make an almost perfect movie better? there is always a slim chance it could be ok,
but there is probably no chance in hell it will be.

Unless this was a SinCity-like movie based on “The Crow Author’s Edition” (see http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/thecrow/ ) I would hate a remake was made

oh great not another remake, I can already imagine the shitty emo soundtrack that’s going to come out, and whose going to get cast to play Eric Draven? the fag from Twilight or something? or some other pretty boy who can’t act for shit great now the emo kids are just going to have some other movie to just shit all over fucking hollywood.
