I guess it’s only right that Chris Nahon’s live-action version of the Japanese anime “Blood: The Last Vampire” adds a Japanese actress into the mix, since it will already be starring a South Korean lead actress and be directed by a French guy for International release. The Japanese contingent will be represented by Koyuki (yes, only one name), who will play a vampire not originally seen in the original anime, but who will have a major battle with lead Jeon Ji-hyun’s Saya character, also a vampire.

A vampire named Saya, who is part of covert government agency that hunts and destroys demons in a post-WWII Japan, is inserted in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon is disguise.

Starring Jeon Ji-hyun (as Gianna Jun), Allison Miller, Masiela Lusha, Colin Salmon, and directed by Chris Nahon.

The blood flows in 2008.
