Bond 22 Begins Shooting, Jeffrey Wright Returns

If you thought Jeffrey Wright was major boss in “Casino Royale” as “the brotha from Langley” (who can’t play poker very well), you’ll love the news that Wright’s Felix Leiter character will indeed make a return appearance in Bond 22, which just happens to have begun its proper shooting this week at Pinewood Studios in London.

The news was confirmed by Variety, who also says that “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” star Mathieu Amalric will indeed play Bond’s nemesis in the flick, which is scheduled for a November 7th, 2008 release.

Marc Forster (“Monster’s Ball”) is directing Bond 22, which is said to take place mere minutes after the ending of “Casino Royale”, with Bond (Daniel Craig) still on the revenge trail.
