It’s heeeeeeeeeere. That’s right, kids, the movie that you all love to hate — and some of you just hate to hate — has gotten a teaser trailer, which will be showing in front of “Max Payne” on October 17 as previously reported. Officially, that is. The unofficial (re: bootleg) version of the teaser has appeared online. The teaser was recently shown at the Brand Licensing Europe 2008 (whatever the heck that is), and some quick-thinking lad was able to capture it with his cellphone. It’s not the best of quality, but it’s definitely the same teaser from which images were leaked a little while back.
A young boy named Goku seeks out upon his grandfather’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls (of which he has one) in order to prevent Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world.
Starring Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson. James Wong (”Final Destination”) directs.
The ball drops April 10, 2009.
Update: Via reader LSB, the actual trailers for “Dragonball”! Get it while it’s still online boys and girls. Well that didn’t last very long. Here are two more versions, hopefully they’ll last longer.

This doesn’t even comes close to a dragonball movie, except for the character names and de cgi-ball’s!
I agree,it looks horrible. When will people understand that an anime like Dragonball is very hard to translate to a live action movie.
And by the way this won’t be the first live action movie ever,since there is a Taiwanese movie based on the anime,called “Dragonball:The magic begins” (I have to admit that this movie is pretty has not been received well and that most of it is pretty bad.

and this trailer doesnt look that bad, it look like a good martial art movie, beside, dragon ball z martial art was just moving really fast and punching and kicking really strong

OMG..this just looks all kinds of bad! I still had some hope…now though, not anymore. It just looks like an even campier DOA spinoff or something, NOT GOOD. Also, DBZ was about the cool martial arts too, right…so where is it? Let’s hope a real theatrical trailer will be uhm… less sucky
I Am Legend was only 100 min. and Dragonball is going to be the same amount of time. hopfully it will be a entertaining 100 min. And Oooo here is the full HD Trailor!!….Enjoy.
