Brad Pitt to Enforce Cogan’s Trade for the Mob

Brad Pitt has re-teamed with his “The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford” (and breeeeeeeeeeeathe) director Andrew Dominik for the action-comedy “Cogan’s Trade”. Pitt will star as Cogan, a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game under protection of the mob.

Aside from Pitt, other names being mentioned as part of the ensemble cast include Sam Rockwell, Casey Affleck, Mark Ruffalo, and Javier Bardem. Rockwell and Affleck also worked with Dominik and Pitt on “Jesse James”, with Affleck in particular really getting a lot of hype for his role as the cowardly Robert Ford.

The film is currently being shopped around at the American Film Market, but with Pitt attached, expect it to have no problems picking up buyers, especially since from the sounds of it, this looks like it has the makings of another “Ocean’s 11″ type film.

'So, I can be in this movie too, right, Brad? Promise I won't shoot you in the back this time. Pinky swear.'
