Yim Pil-sung and Kim Jee-woon’s upcoming science fiction anthology “Doomsday Book” is no stranger to the pages of Beyond Hollywood. We’ve been all over this thing since the project resurfaced, and it doesn’t look like the promotional machine plans to slow down any time soon. Below you’ll find a sparkling new teaser for the upcoming flick, a clip which features a bit of footage from each story. It’s only 30-seconds long, so whatever you do, don’t blink.

A fresh synopsis to bring you up to speed:

Two acclaimed Korean directors unfurl three unique stories of human self-destruction in the modern high-tech era. In a hope to restore the humane compassion in the insusceptible modern age, the film displays an alternative form of genuine humanity. And thus you are stepping into the world of future, where a series of unexpected stories awaits you. All these stories originate from the earth. From the very earth you live on.

“Doomsday Book” opens in South Korea on April 5th, 2012.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
