Okay, okay. I know the latest UK trailer for Paco Plaza’s “[Rec] 3: Genesis” isn’t really anything new, but it’s still kind of cool if you have any interest in the flick whatsoever. And while reviews coming out of SXSW have been mixed, I’m still extremely curious to see how Plaza tackles the origin story. I can’t wait for this one to get proper distribution here in the States.

Can’t wait to see this, every time I see the bride with a chainsaw I get so excited! I don’t see anything wrong with a shameless Raimi homage and the Rec franchise certainly brings a touch a class to such a well worn genre.
