Brendan Fraser, previously attached to the new TNT undercover drama “Legends”, has apparently decided he doesn’t want to start doing TV work on a regular basis after all. The “Mummy” actor has left the show, citing “creative differences” with “Legends” showrunner Howard Gordon.
The show, based on a novel by Robert Littell, would have starred Fraser as Martin Odum, a “deep-cover operative who has an uncanny ability to transform himself into a different person for each job.”
This would have been Fraser’s first regular stint as a TV lead, having only previously appeared in recurring roles on various shows, most notably the sitcom “Scrubs”.
“Legends” will now look for a new lead.
