Bruce Willis is Hannibal in the A-Team Movie?

Or at least, that’s what the studio and the movie’s director, John Singleton wants. Will they get him? Probably, mostly because Bruce Willis (pictured, left) would be almost perfect as Hannibal. Willis has always done the tough army guy well, and he’d definitely kill as John “Hannibal” Smith, the leader of the renegade A-Team originally played in the TV series by the great George Peppard. Now if only Singleton will convince Mister T. to reprise his role as B.A. Baracus. Yeah, I think Mister T. would still be great in the role, what of it? But knowing my luck, they’ll probably get Ice Cube instead.

…from what I’m hearing, for John Singleton’s upcoming remake of THE A-TEAM, they’re looking at Bruce Willis for the role of Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, the leader of the A-TEAM. I love it when a plan comes together!

As LR mentions, Willis hasn’t signed on or anything, because the casting is just being “looked at” — i.e. the studio is putting out feelers to see if Willis wants in, and if he does, it’ll be a done deal. Bruce, my man, take the job!
