Bruce Willis to Star in Prison Break The Movie? No, But Close.

Not quite, but it sure sounds like the premise of the Fox show “Prison Break”, doesn’t it? Here’s how Deadline describes the premise of “The Tomb”, a new film from Summit Entertainment that Bruce Willis is currently in talks to front for director Antoine Fuqua:

Willis is in talks to play Ray Breslin, the world’s foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test. He’s framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars.

Like I said, basically “Prison Break” The Movie with some minor tweaks. The guy who did the Fox show should probably call their lawyers. I’m must saying.

Miles Chapman wrote the original script, which is currently being rewritten by Jason Keller for producers Robbie Brenner and Mark Canton, probably to make it less “Prison Break”-y. Again, I’m just saying.

'Oh come on, I already did this on TV! Shenanigans!'
