Bryan Singer, the freshly designated director of Fox’s upcoming “X-Men: First Class” sequel (now that Vaughn has decided he’d rather be doing something else — either “The Secret Service” with Mark Millar or “Star Wars: Episode 7″, depending on who you believe — has gone on record that “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will not feature his X-Men characters running around in the “leather suits” that were made (in)famous in his two “X-Men” movies (and continued on in Brett Ratner’s “X-Men: Last Stand”).

Funny thing is, I always thought the guys in “X-Men: First Class” had leather suits on, but looking back on it, I guess they really weren’t. At the end there, when they were all wearing the same themed get-up, it might have looked leather suit-ish, but I guess they weren’t, were they?
