I’ll be honest with you, I have absolutely no idea how long this trailer is going to last online, but it’s apparently the same extended 5-minute-plus trailer that was shown at Comic Con this past weekend, featuring all of the movie’s main plot points and, at the end, the arrival of the Destroyer to lay down some mega waste. Check it out below. So, does five minutes of “Thor” convince you this movie could actually … work?
Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
Starring Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson, Rene Russo, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore, Tadanobu Asano, Adriana Barraza, Joshua Dallas, Matt Battaglia, and directed by Kenneth Branagh.

Dam 2011 is going to be a great year for summer movies.
I dont care how many people were against Idris Elba playing Heimdall, dude looks sick especially with the contacts.
thor was not arrogant, where did they come up with that , what a bunch of idiots who are supposed to be writers,
what i was afraid of!! very few scenes in helmet. and no human counter part….. havnt kept up to date with comics, maybe he dont have a human counterpart any more… but still he should be wearing and fightin in his helmet like in the comics. expect few times when he left hard or something

Most of the time he's in the movie he's been depowered and can't even lift his hammer (deemed not worthy by Odin). But we'll get the helmet. And Donald Blake too (was announced at comic con)
