Californication’s Addison Timlin in Talks for Odd Thomas

Looks like Stephen Sommers’ “Odd Thomas” is about to get sexier. Variety reports that Addison Timlin, the often-nude star of Showtime’s David Duchovny show “Californication” is currently in negotiations to join the cast of Sommers’ “Odd Thomas” opposite “Terminator Salvation’s” Anton Yelchin as the female love interest.

Timlin is essentially getting the job because Lily Collins, the previous frontrunner, signed up for Relativity’s “Snow White” movie instead. Timlin would play Stormy Llewellyn, the girlfriend of short order cook Odd Thomas (Yelchin), a young man who can see ghosts and who “encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark, threatening forces.” You’d think ol Odd would use his powers to do something other than cook people breakfast, but apparently not so much.

Sommers, the much-derided director of “G.I. Joe”, will produce and direct from his own script, which he adapted from the series of supernatural novels by the prolific Dean Koontz.
