Proving once again that you can’t keep a determined American down, check out the first trailer for the Russo Brothers’ “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”. Of course, it helps if that angry American is a super soldier who can leap tall buildings in a single bound and bullets bounce off his chest. Or, er, his shield. And I’m not sure if he can actually leap tall buildings, in a single bound or a dozen. But close! Sort of. Also, I guess it’s out of the bag, huh? Robert Redford is the main bad guy.
Anyways. Take a gander at the explosive first trailer for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”. No, seriously. There must be one explosion every 10 seconds in this thing. I have to ask, though, where is Emily VanCamp? I thought she was playing a SHIELD agent and Captain America’s love interest, but I don’t think she’s anywhere in this trailer. Weird.
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.
