Sebastian Stan and Australian actor Socratis Otto have joined the cast of Amanda Seyfried’s “Gone”, a thriller that Heitor Dhalia will direct (from a script by Allison Burnett) for Summit Entertainment. The Brazilian Dhalia is coming off “Adrift” with Camilla Belle.
Besides “Red Riding Hood’s” Seyfried, the film will also star “Dexter’s” Jennifer Carpenter, Wes Bentley and Emily Wickerhsham. The plot features Seyfried as Jill, a young woman who is convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years ago has returned and this time has taken her sister, forcing Jill to seek out and face her abductor in order to save her sibling.
Stan (below) is coming off “Black Swan” and playing Bucky in Joe Johnston’s “Captain America: The First Avenger”, while Otto (top, left) is yet another Aussie veteran of the long-running TV show “Home and Away”, which also launched the careers of “Thor’s” Chris Hemsworth, Isla Fisher and Ryan Kwanten.
