If Sebastian Gutierrez’s script for his chick-heavy comedy “Women in Trouble” is as good as this brief 35-second scene featuring Carla Gugino, playing a porn star name Elektra Luxx and Connie Britton, then he’s got himself a winner. Or it could just be Carla Gugino selling the soap with a combination of winning smile and that nice rack of hers. We’ll see when “Women in Trouble” hits theaters November 13, 2009. A serpentine day in the life of ten seemingly disparate women: a porn star, a flight attendant, a psychiatrist, a masseuse, a bartender, a pair of call girls, etc. All of them with one crucial thing in common. Trouble.

The film stars Carla Gugino, Adrianne Palicki, Connie Britton, Marley Shelton, Cameron Richardson, Garcelle Beauvais, Caitlin Keats, and Paul Cassell. It’s written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez, who already has another movie planned in the series, this one to be called “Elektra Luxx” that will focus on Gugino’s porn star character.
