Unfortunately for Crowe, “the private eye confirms those suspicions, and when the mayor’s wife’s cheating partner ends up dead, the private eye immerses himself in the mayor’s business and uncovers a real estate scandal that involves the pol dealing himself choice city-owned properties.”

The $60 million film is set to shoot this November.

Meanwhile, over at the “Place Beyond the Pines”, Rose Byrne has replaced Greta Gerwig as the female lead in the film, joining Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper in the cast.

The lovely Byrne will play the wife of Bradley Cooper’s police officer turned politician, who finds himself in a showdown with a motorcycle-riding bank robber played by Gosling.
