Catching up with American Horror Story: Coven’s Slick Promo Campaign

American Horror Story Coven Poster

Gotta say, whoever is running the promos for FX’s “American Horror Story” needs a pay raise. The show has been killing it for the last three years, and I’m not even that big of a fan! But it’s hard to deny the slick factor in all the TV spots and promo posters.

For your convenience, I’ve cobbled together all the previously released TV spots and a new poster for the show’s current third season, “American Horror Story: Coven”, recently released today. Check them out below, check them outers.

American Horror Story: Coven tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America. More than 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves. Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe (Farmiga), who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona (Lange), the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way.

The show stars Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, Denis O’Hare, Patti LuPone, Evans Peters, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe and Emma Roberts.

Like the poster says, “American Horror Story: Coven” airs October 9th.

This series’ marketing department is insanely good! Their marketing was what got me into this series.

ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT!!! This show has been great since season one and the changing of the subject material every season is brilliant. This season has yet another incredible cast, and the additions of Bates, Bassett, and Sidibe have me truly stoked for this.
