First Look at Hellboy 2’s Johann Krauss
The Hellboy official site has your first look at the Hellboy 2 character Johann Krauss. Now I don’t know who Johann Krauss is, since the last time I read the Hellboy comics was well before the first movie, and I’m sure the comics universe has since expanded into other parts and created whole new characters [...]

Batman returns in “The Dark Knight” this summer, July 18, 2008, but until then we’ll have to satisfy ourselves with the latest Batman images. ComingSoon has that covered, with three new images from Christopher Nolan’s caped crusader flick, although one of them is actually a poster.
I think we’ve seen one of the images before, from [...]
Jason Statham as the Sub-Mariner?
In an interview with IESB, Jason Statham, man of action that he is, mentions that he recently “took a meeting” for the upcoming “Sub-Mariner” comic book movie. That, and between dropping the “F-bomb” every other sentence, the guy talks about his other movies, including “The Bank Job”, “Crank 2″, and “Transporter 3″. But let’s get [...]

Just to be clear, says Edward Norton, his version of The Hulk in the upcoming “The Incredible Hulk” has nothing to do with Ang Lee’s 2003 version of The Hulk. In fact, Norton turned down the role a couple of times until they told him he could re-write the script, which he sees as the [...]

If he ever stops making cool movies, I don’t think anyone is going to offer director Zack Snyder an illustration contract, as ol Zack seems to scribble more than he actually draws. But hey, there’s no denying that it works for the man, so why quibble? Snyder recently posted a couple of his Watchmen storyboards [...]

I’m so loving what Marvel is doing with their comic book franchises. The best news I’ve heard all year is that Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man” movie and Louis Leterrier’s “The Hulk” reboot will actually exist within the same cinematic universe, which means characters from the two films will have the opportunity to “cross-over” into the [...]

Well it’s official. After days of internet rumblings that the George Miller-directed Justice League movie was being grounded because of script concerns and a ballooning budget, Warner Bros. has officially confirmed the news: the movie has been put on ice until the script can be worked on, which won’t happen until the writers strike ends.

Justice League, Man of Steel Delayed
It looks like Warner Bros. is having a bit of a problem getting its two massive event films into production, the George Miller-directed “Justice League of America” movie and “The Man of Steel”, the sequel to Bryan Singer’s “Superman Returns”. The culprit? Yep, you guessed it, that damn strike.
On the JLA movie (via):

Liev Schreiber is Sabretooth in Wolverine Movie?
The big comic book rumor this Friday has the clumsily titled “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” nabbing itself a lead villain — Liev Schreiber, aka the guy who knocked up Naomi Watts, will be playing the role of Creed, aka Sabretooth, Wolverine’s arch nemesis. The role was originally played by Tyler Mane in Bryan Singer’s first “X-Men” [...]

Tony Stark (aka Robert Downey Jr., aka Iron Man) looks good, even when he’s just standing around posing, like he’s doing in this new image from Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man” movie. The more I see of Downey Jr. with his facial hair, the more I’m digging casting Downey Jr. in the role. I must admit, [...]
