Well you&#8217;re in luck, animation lovers, because Dreamworks Animation has officially just announced that the sequel to &#8220;Kung Fu Panda&#8221; is set for a 2011 release. That means you can start getting your sleeping bags ready to camp out in front of the movie theater to buy those tickets sometime next year. What, you weren&#8217;t planning on doing that for an animated movie? So doing it for &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; is okay, but not for &#8220;Kung Fu Panda&#8221;? You suck. Anyways, more news on the impending sequel below.

The film, which will reunite Jack Black, as kung fu fan Po, Angelina Jolie and other members of the original voice cast, will be released in 3-D &#8212; the new standard for all DreamWorks Animation movies starting next year &#8212; on regular and Imax screens worldwide.

		<description><![CDATA[You can&#8217;t keep a fat panda down. Especially when that fat panda knows kung fu, and just happens to be the legendary Dragon Warrior, who as we all know, is so awesome as to be awesomely awesome. Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO of Dreamworks, is making noise that an announcement on a &#8220;Kung Fu Panda&#8221; sequel will be forthcoming very soon (within a couple of months), would seem to ensure that Yeah, like all of Hollywood, Dreamworks knows a good thing when they have one &#8212; and kung fu fighting animals are a very good thing, indeed.
