Around round of movie gallery additions for ya this Friday: first up, more Naomi Watts and Clive Owen fighting international crime in “The International”, or at least they look like they’re about to fight international crime; a couple of new posters for David Goyer’s “Unborn” have popped up; and finally, a quad movie poster for “Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans”, which doesn’t look nearly as good as your usual quad posters form overseas. New gallery wise, there’s one for Kristen Stewart’s new coming of age teen dramedy “Adventureland”, which isn’t my thing, but you “Twilight” kids might like it; and more from “Fighting”, the new movie about, er, fighting.

David Goyer’s horror movie “The Unborn” is about a brunette in modern day New York who realizes that she’s babysitting the ghost of some kid who died during the Holocaust. Or maybe the devil is trying to be reborn through her while she’s babysitting the neighbor boy. Okay, so I’m not entirely sure what it’s about, but it looks like it’s got all the elements of a good ol fashion chiller — cute girl gets stalked, gets help from a rabbi played by Gary Oldman, and fun is had by all. Well, except for all the people who die between the girl realizing what’s going on and the rabbi coming to the rescue. I’m guessing Meagan Good’s character doesn’t make it. Call it a hunch.

The tagline on the latest poster for David Goyer’s “Unborn” horror movie reads: “Evil Will Do Anything to Live”. Apparently the producers of “Unborn” will do anything to sell the movie, including putting the attractive female lead’s panty-clad ass cheeks on the same poster. Mind you, not that I’m complaining, but I thought it was amusing. We haven’t seen this kind of obvious T&A pandering to the genre fanboys in a horror movie poster since the ’80s, when every teen slasher had a similar, artist-drawn poster. What is David Goyer and company trying to tell us here? That “Unborn” is a horror movie in the vein of its ’80s brethren? Okay, sure, let’s go with that one.
The story follows Casey (Yustman) as she begins to experience strange happenings and general madness that may be supernatural in origin. The Unborn also stars Cam Gigandet, Gary Oldman, Meagan Good, Idris Elba and Carla Gugino.

Babysitting someone’s kid is hard enough, but when the kid starts telling you that there’s another kid, this one already dead, who wants to be reborn through you? Man, that just turns an already bad day into a really crappy one. Such is life for Odette Yustman, who survived the monster of “Cloverfield” only to have to face a creepy little kid from the past who may or may not be her dead unborn twin (I think, the trailer is kind of confusing) who now wants to be reborn through her. I think. As I said, the trailer throws out a lot at you, and I’m not really sure what this thing is about. In any case, it’s a good thing she’s got Gary Oldman to help out. Maybe he can call that Bat guy to lend a hand…

I believe this is our very first look at an image from Sam Raimi’s upcoming “Drag Me to Hell”, his return to small-budget horror moviemaking (how small? I don’t know; but let’s face it, after the gazillion dollars of the “Spider-Man” film, he could make a movie for $50 million and it would still qualify as “low-budget”). It’s also our first looks at David Goyer’s “The Unborn”, with Gary Oldman and the hot girl from “Cloverfield”, as well as “Quarantine”, the zombie movie remake of the Spanish zombie movie called “REC”, which is already gearing up a sequel.
Raimi (Spider-Man) returns to his horror roots (The Evil Dead). Lohman (White Oleander) plays a loan officer who won’t give one to an old lady (Raver) and gets hexed for her heartlessness. ”She makes one bad choice, then she spends the next 80 minutes overpaying for it,” Raimi says.
Starring Alison Lohman, Justin Long, and Jessica Lucas.

James Remar, one of the stars of Showtime’s Dexter TV series, has joined the cast of David Goyer’s “Unborn”. The cast of the Holocaust-theme movie already includes Gary Oldman, Carla Gugino, and “Cloverfield” star Odette Yustman. In the film, Yustman stars as a young woman who must fight a ghostly spirit that is slowly taking possession of her. Oldman is the priest who helps out, and Gugino is her mother.
More:
James Remar has signed onto David S. Goyer’s “Unborn,” starring Gary Oldman and Carla Gugino. He’ll next be seen in the Judd Apatow-produced “Pineapple Express.”Photoplayers
Remar played the father of Dexter’s titular character, a serial killer who kills bad guys. Remar’s father, a cop, realizes his son’s dark personality early on, and instead of turning him in, teaches him to go after the bad guys to satiate his murderous appetite. Now that’s a good dad!

Looks like the cast of David Goyer’s horror movie “Unborn” has just ballooned significantly, with news that Meagan Good, Carla Gugino, Jane Alexander, Idris Elba and Rhys Coiro have joined the cast that originally only included “Cloverfield’s” Odette Yustman and the always great Gary Oldman. Good will be slotted as Yustman’s bestest bud, while Gugino will play her — gasp! — mother. Seriously? Carla Gugino is now playing people’s mothers? Egads. Where has all the time gone?
More:
Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are producing writer-director David Goyer’s tale of a girl (Yustman) tormented by the soul of a boy who died in the Holocaust.
Good (”The Love Guru”) will play the girl’s best friend, and Gugino (”Spy Kids”) has been cast as her mother. Alexander will play a Holocaust survivor whose brother’s spirit is returning.
Elba (”American Gangster”) will play a priest who helps Rabbi Oldman perform exorcisms. Coiro (HBO’s “Entourage”) is the college professor of Yustman’s character, and [...]

Goyer, who writes and directs more movies than I eat curly fries from Jack in the Box a day, and I love me my curly friends.
More:
The untitled project follows a 19-year-old girl (Odette Yustman, “Cloverfield”) who is haunted by a dybbuk, the soul of a dead person barred from heaven, in the form of a young boy who perished in Auschwitz. Oldman would play the spiritual specialist who helps the girl.
Creepy ghost kid. Now that’s gonna be hard to do. If done right, it’ll be scary; if done wrong, it’ll be funny (ala the Grudge films — seriously, a blue ghost kid? Bleh).
