I know it’s hard, but remember that OTHER major comic book movie coming out in 2012? The one with the guy in the bat suit? Yeah, it’s coming out this year, too, though I don’t blame you for forgetting for just a moment given all the “Avengers” stuff that’s coming out fast and furious. Give them this: the Marvel and Paramount folks aren’t holding a lot back as they truck towards the film’s May 4th release date.

But don’t forget about Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”, which comes out July 20, 2012, two months after “The Avengers”. That’s convenient, don’t you think? Two big comic book movies separated by two months. Just enough time for both films to kill the box office and claim their chunk of the 2012 pie. And they say movie studio heads are dumb!

So, here’s a new piece of goodness from Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”, featuring Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman all dressed up and with no one to rob.

“Rises” also stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, and Nestor Carbonell.

I like the look, classic yet modern! But on a different note, has anyone seen a pic of her since she chopped her hair off for a role? Not a good look for her.

  • Lexavi80

I think she still looks cute. Long hair or not.

    • http://www.beyondhollywood.com/ Dedpool

I know it’s for a movie but she doesn’t pull the look off as well as Michelle Williams and Emma Watson. It draws out what I always thought her most awkward features her eyebrows and her nose. Not saying she’s ugly or anything.

She is supposed to look “bad” in that film, it’s also why she has lost the weight to almost emaciation levels.

        • http://www.beyondhollywood.com/ Dedpool

Yeah I know. But when in public you’d thinkshe’d fix it up a lil. LOL

  • Vineland13

    mmmm she’s fine!

  • A_deadite

I like the way her butt sits in those pants. It’s purrfect.

  • TotesMagotes

I’d let her kick my ass any day.

  • Juggernaut

    I’m torn by this look >: [
On one hand I like that it’s styled after the 60′s series. On the other hand it doesn’t really fit into Nolan’s grittier, more realistic take on the Bat-Verse. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

    • http://www.beyondhollywood.com/ Dedpool

How so? I mean the suit makes sense, you’re not going to do any Theivery the way she does in baggy clothes. The mask is to cover her idnetity (mostly) and if you’re talking about the heels, they have a function to a point, and you’d be surprised what some ladies can do in heels LOL And then her “Ears” are her tech goggles for seeing lasers and such I imagine. And there’s only so far realism will take you in a CBM even in Nolan’s world. An athletic chick in tight suit and heels kicking ass is still realistic.

Face it, as “real” as this franchise gets, at the end of the day it’s still about a dude who dresses up as a giant bat and fights crime.

        • http://www.beyondhollywood.com/ Dedpool

Pretty much my point exactly. It i still a CBM and I’d like a lil stylized-hyper realism in my CBMs.

        • Juggernaut

          Point taken. Lol.

  • Zero-shot

its the boots that do it for me…mmm
