Channing Tatum Adding his Hunkiness to Jonah Hill’s Fattiness in 21 Jump Street Movie

Channing Tatum? The guy who played Duke in the “G.I. Joe” movie is going to play a cop who goes undercover in high school? Hey, why not? It’s not like Tatum would look any out of place then, say, all the 20 and 30-year olds playing “high school students” on TV shows and movies nowadays.

Anyways, word is Tatum will soon be entering negotiations to join the cast of “21 Jump Street” as a co-male lead alongside Jonah Hill, who has been attached to the film forever. Apparently someone realized that Jonah Hill is probably not famous enough to front a whole movie by his little “Superbad” self, so they’re adding Tatum to the party. Hey, maybe between the two of them, they can actually open a flick. Could happen.

“21 Jump Street” the movie will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (“Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs”) from a script by Michael Bacall.

Let’s just hope he plays one of the head cops and not one of the Jump Street crew. Like he could have been a part of the first version of this unit and is in chage of recruiting for the new unit.
