That news is straight from Robert Rodriguez himself, who tweeted the casting news earlier today:

Stunt casting? You bet your ass! Almost as much as casting Mel Gibson as the villain, I’m guessing. Then again, maybe Robert Rodriguez just have a soft spot for social outcasts?

“Machete Kills”, which finds Danny Trejo back as the machete-wielding badass, this time battling bad guys at the behest of Charlie Sheen’s El Presidente, cleaves his way back into our hearts in 2013.
