Dudes, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn aka The Green Goblin in Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ looks insane. And I’m not saying “insane” as in, “Whoa, dude, that’s like, totally cool!” I mean it in the sense of, “Whoa, dude, did that guy just eat the sofa cushions?” Yeah, that kind of insane.

Check out a new image from “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” featuring DeHaan tangling with Andrew Garfield’s Spidey. I’m guessing that’s Garfield in that costume, but frankly, it could be anyone. If I was Garfield, I’d just let someone else do the acting when it’s just the costume, and show up for the face-time scenes. I mean, who would know? Then again, I’m kind of lazy, so there’s that.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, with Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field.

The Goblin takes a bite out of Spidey this May 2nd.
