China’s Leading Actors Join Forces for Longman Leung and Sunny Luk’s Cold War

I’m not sure if the movie is going to be worth a damn or not, but at least it’s got one hell of a cast powering its premise. Directors Longman Leung and Sunny Luk have assembled quite the collection of actors for the upcoming police drama “Cold War”, a film which follows the efforts of several police officers as they attempt to locate a van full of high-grade equipment. Sounds kind of corny, right? Wait until you see the cast list.

But first, here’s a more detailed synopsis:

In Asia’s safest city, the police have long been untouchable. Approaching midnight in Hong Kong, police headquarters receives an anonymous call: a fully-loaded police van carrying the forces, most advance equipment and five highly trained officers has disappeared off the grid. The hijackers possess direct knowledge of police procedures. They’re already steps ahead. The police must meet a list of demands to ensure the hostage’s release, including the delivery of a huge ransom. Any delay will cost lives. The clock is ticking.

“Cold War” features Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Tony Leung, Eddie Peng, Aarif Rahman, and Charlie Yeung. Impressed? You should be. The film gets down to business this May. As soon as a trailer becomes available, there’s a very strong possibility that you’ll be the first to know.
