Tim Burton has added Hitgirl from “Kick Ass” to his roster of vampires and humans in his big-screen adaptation of “Dark Shadows”. Young Missy Chloe Moretz had been hinting on Twitter about having landed “a role in a big, huge upcoming film with an incredibly famous director.” Some thought she meant “Hunger Games”, but as it turns out, it’s “Dark Shadows”.
Moretz, who was last seen thirsting for human blood in “Let Me In”, will play Carolyn, the daughter Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in the movie. She joins a cast that includes Pfeiffer, Johnny Depp, Eva Green, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heathcote.
At the rate the film is adding castmembers, you can expect production to begin very soon for a 2012 release date.
