Chow Yun Fat Tops Movie’s Best Killers

I guess we all knew that when it came to making a killing on the big screen, that no one does it better than Chow Yun Fat in John Woo’s “The Killer”. But apparently someone wanted to make sure, so they made a list of cinema’s best movie killers. To no one’s surprise, Chow Yun-Fat’s Ah Jong from “The Killer” took the top spot, followed by Antonio Banderas’ El Mariachi in Robert Rodriguez’s “El Mariachi”. Curiously, Martin Riggs from the “Lethal Weapon” series is nowhere to be found. What, no love for the crazy killers?

Here’s the full of killers and how they rank on the list (via):

1. Ah Jong (Chow Yun-Fat) in The Killer
2. El Mariachi (Antonio Banderas) in Desperado
3. Leon (Jean Reno) in The Professional
4. John & Jane Smith (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) in Mr. & Mrs. Smith
5. Samantha Caine/Charly Baltimore (Geena Davis) in The Long Kiss Goodnight
6. Michael Sullivan (Tom Hanks) in Road to Perdition
7. Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) in No Country for Old Men
8. Ghost Dog (Forest Whitaker) in Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai
9. Vincent (Tom Cruise) in Collateral
10. Martin Blank (John Cusack) in Grosse Pointe Blank

Putting Vincent from “Collateral” and Charly Baltimore from “The Long Kiss Goodnight” on the list is a bit of a stretch. Who made this list, someone who has only seen 10 action movies in their life?

What happened to the character that Brad Pitt played in Kalifornia!!! He was heartless, cold and gross. He belongs there too.
