you know chris. in your opinion the third ff will be unlikely but people’s mindes are different. we loved those two last ff becouse all the actors especially you and jessica did well. so just do it we are your fans and we want you to do this. you will have fun and earn your money. so do it we will stand on you.

Thanks Barry Mobley, funny you say that because I am in the process of writing. I just can’t say what it’s about. @ Sheila Gafney-What!? Are you losing your eyesight from doing too much crystal meth!? I never said that Jessica Alba was stupid, on the contrary she probably wouldn’t be as dominant in the entertainment business as she is if she was stupid. She aint that stupid if she’s got the kind of money that I don’t think that anybody on this post has(including me). All I’m saying is although she’s a very HOT looking actress and people like her,she is not a great actress and was totally MISCAST as Sue Richards in the FF movie that’s all. A person can be miscast but still do such a great performance that you totally forget that they were’nt physically right for the part. Denzel Washington is one of those actors that can do that. There are actresses out there that can do it too. Also Jessica has a complex about her hispanic roots which I won’t get into here but I dislike her issues with that. But other than that I still would totally hit that! I…. probably never will but oh,well. A good screenplay could me close hahaha!!!

Wait a minute. I actually liked those movies. They weren’t the super dark angst ridden films that X-men, and Spiderman were and I was happy about it. Chris Evans was definitely a highlight in the films but no love for Michael Chickliss? Come on he WAS both Ben Grimm AND The Thing. My only issue was how they portrayed Doom, and ho they cheated by healing him to have his mask off in the second film.

Aww hell!!! Just give Marvel the rights back and just do a distribution deal with them. Universal and Paramount were smart enough to do it. You’ll make more money in the long run. STOP BEING SO DAMN GREEDY AND LET THE RIGHT PEOPLE DO IT AND YOU’LL MAKE MORE MONEY CUZ PEOPLE WILL EVENTUALLY JUST GET FED UP WITH YOU AND JUST DOWNLOAD ALL YOUR CRAPPY MOVIES FOR FREE!!!!! FF3 should be based on “The Infinity Gauntlet”. And let Marvel Productions produce it with Fox’s permission and “NON-MEDALING”

In order to do a 3rd FF movie justice, Fox has to let Marvel Productions produce the film and just let Fox distribute it while Fox still retains the rights which I’m sure Fox doeant want to give back to Marvel especially looking at the way Fox likes to handle business. They have to recast but they don’t have to reboot. 1)First off aside from her bad & unconvincing acting,Jessica Alba was miscast and no amount of makeup could make her look authentically like Sue.Although Jessica is half Caucasion,her latin features are WAYYY too dominant to try and make her look “white”(I’m latino)It could probably have been done right but why go through all the trouble when you could just easily get a talented Caucasion actress like Charlize Theron or Naomi Watts to do it. 2)Ion Gruffud did a less than mediocre job as Reed.Guy Pierce would have been the perfect actor to play as Reed although not a very great movie,watch him in “The Time Machine”.3) Ben Grimm needs to be portrayed by a talented unknown actor who fits the look and personality of Ben all the way,hieght included added with a little cgi for depth and structure. 4)Victor Von Doom by far had the worst portrayal by far seeing that he is probably Marvel’s MOST feared and respected villian. Julain Mcmahon did not show an ounce of Doom’s “regalness” nor did he have the correct voice or “Latverian” accent that he should have had. Dr.Doom melds technology with sorcery and is the next possible in line to be The Sorceror Supreme. His portrayal by Julian Mcmahon was sickenly weak,incompetent,and did not inflict absolute fear. The Perfect actor would have been Jeromy Irons. Jeromy Irons persona is dead on as Doom especially the way he talks as “Scar” in “The Lion King”. I say continue with a part 3 not a reboot exposing them to more cosmic mutations which could explain why they all look different. Make Thing’s Skin like “Spiny Rock” temporarily through the film and let Reed make a changing device for him. This movie should focus on the introduction of Namor,Mole Creatures(not Mole Man),Super Skrulls and,lastly Thanos.Cast Tim Curry as Thanos.Watch his superb performance as “Darkness in “Legend”. Revamp Joaquin Pheonix’s career with a come back as Namor or cast Jonathan Rhys Myers as Namor if Joaquin won’t do it. I would like to see The Black Panther(Djmon Honsou) in FF3 also just as long as Fox doesn’t own the rights to him.Also show Galactus’s real image this time even if you have to revamp him “A little” and I emphasive “A little”.

The FF films did very well at the box office–$154 million for #1 and $132 million for #2. Not ultra-blockbuster Transformers dough, but more than the vast majority of films that come out. Problem is they spent too much money making them. These were comparably small scale stories that didn’t need that much money thrown at them. But I still liked them.
In fact, the only problem I had with the FF movies was the mishandling and miscasting of Dr. Doom. Other than that misstep, I think they were true to the spirit (and often the letter) of the original comics. Their bad rep is totally overblown by the fanboy community.
Both were better than that confused, ADD-ridden Spiderman 3.

Yeah I totally agree with those ideas!!!! I’d really love to see a third featuring one of those plotlines. I know they didn’t do all that great at the box office, but I for one still enjoyed both the FF films nonetheless…

I think that they should do the third fantastic four movie and i have a few ideas of what the movie should be about i was thinking how about the fantasic four should battle the frightful four or the gammaray for the next movie.
