Christopher Nolan Eying April Start For His Third Batman

The third installment in Christopher Nolan’s series of “Batman” films is looking to start filming in New Orleans this April.

Now is a good time to be a fan of comic book movies since it seems like every comic book/super hero movie ever is shooting, just finished shooting, or will begin shooting over the next few months.

“Thor” hits theaters next summer, “Green Lantern” recently wrapped (also in New Orleans), and “X-Men: First Class” and “Captain America: The First Avenger” are both filming in London as we speak.

“Men in Black III” kicks off production on the 18th of this month, “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” joins the fun in November, December will see production begin on the next wave of “Spider-Man” movies, and “The Avengers” starts filming in February. And let us not forget that the ball is rolling fast and furious for “Superman” and the next “Wolverine”, and there will probably be start dates for those films soon.

Comic book fans rejoice, or cringe depending on your stance regarding movie adaptations.
