Christopher Smith’s Triangle Region 1 DVD Cover Art and Specs

Speaking of Melissa George, ever wondered what happened to her and director Christopher Smith’s mind-bender of a horror movie called “Triangle”? I’ve been dying to see this thing ever since I heard the premise and saw the trailers for it, and it’s a shame the film has bypassed theaters completely in the States. Oh well, there’s always the DVD. In this case, the Region 1 DVD from First Look Studios will land Stateside on February 2nd in standard DVD and Blu-ray. Alas, the DVD specs are pretty barebones, which is a shame, because I’ve found that crew audio commentaries are usually the best things about horror movies. More often than not, they tend to have lots of fun making the movie, especially if the film turns out to be pure crap, though I’m sure “Triangle” doesn’t fall into that category. Probably. Then again, I haven’t seen it yet, so who knows…

When Jess sets sail on a yacht with a group of friends, she cannot shake the feeling that there is something wrong. Her suspicions are realized when the yacht hits a storm and the group is forced to board a passing ocean liner to get to safety, a ship Jess is convinced she’s been on before. The ship appears deserted, the clock on board has stopped, but they are not alone… Someone is intent on hunting them down, one by one. And Jess unknowingly holds the key to end the terror.
