First Clash of the Titans Remake Footage

The boys and gals at MTV recently showed up on the set of Louis Leterrier’s “Clash of the Titans” remake and came away with these two videos, the first being an interview with the cast, including star Sam Worthington, and the second a b-roll with behind-the-scenes looks at some footage. Like MTV, I, too, was supposed to go to the “Clash of the Titans” set that day, but had to turn them down because I had laundry on that day. True story. Honest.

    I’m a fan of the original. No matter how cheesy and outdated it is, it’s still a great piece of film to get people into greek mythology and such. That said, the remake looks amazing so far and if it does well maybe we’ll get a God of War franchise (one film is not enough. If you’ve played the games you know they each end on a cliffhanger…quite literally), or a version of the Illiad/Trojan War that’s closer to the original story with jealous Gods and ego driven warriors. Until then I anxiously await this.

    The original was amazing. A special feat by Ray H. To think the lead actor called the original soft and described how the computer generated effects would make for a better movie is disheartning. Stop motion and real creativity was what helped make it such an amazing film. Where has the creative talent gone? And while I am at it…The lead actor has a shaved head!? Really? Who thought that would be a good idea? I am so disappointed with all of this.
    Leterrier, man I hope you prove me wrong!
    This movie should have been done by Peter Jackson. Yes, computers would have been used, but the casting would have been much better.
