The Lovely Bones is Peter Jackson’s first full length feature film spent in the director’s chair since King Kong, after having spent so many years invested in high budget fantasy and action films. He returns to his roots this time with a very haunting and lovely character story, based on a lauded 2002 novel by Alice Sebold. If you’ve seen the trailer, then you know that the film has plenty of fantastical elements wrapped in a supernatural mold. Ain’t it Cool already has a review of it and lavishes it with profuse praise. While most people have to wait until December 11th for the limited release, MySpace has posted both a clip and a new poster, which you can see below. The poster looks beautiful and artistic, with almost a heavenly use of colors contrasted with the sea of bones under foot. It’s very similar to the previous poster released for the film. It’s hard to get anything from the clip, though, besides the personalities of the characters.
