Cloverfield Russian Trailer

The J.J. Abrams-produced “Cloverfield” is all over the TV nowadays. I can’t turn the channel without seeing a commercial for this thing. So after hearing about this Russian trailer, I wasn’t convinced that it could or would contain any new footage. But lo and behold, it actually does.
Much of the new footage is featured in the second half of the trailer, around the halfway point. It also shows a lot of the soldiers shooting back at the monster, and more of the civilians hiding and fleeing. It still doesn’t show a whole lot of the monster or its little monster babies (I guess that’s what you’d call them), but give it a try anyway.
“Cloverfield” opens January 18, 2008.

I have to admit, I’m intrigued by this movie, but seeing the same damned trailer over and over was frustrating, I didn’t even know it was a monster movie until I saw this trailer. It looks really interesting, but I’m afraid to go see it and find out it’s a crappy godzilla remake/blair witch project wannabe movie. Anywho, thanks for posting this trailer.
