Hollywood blockbuster writer Akiva Goldsman tries his hand at writing and directing with the fantasy “Winter’s Tale”, starring Colin Farrell as some dude who walks through the centuries cause he can’t forget the love of his life. Or something to that effect. He ends up in New York and meets Jennifer Connelly. But before then, he’s chased by Russell Crowe, apparently still playing the same role from “Les Misérables”.
Or, more specifically, here’s what it’s about:
Set in a mythic New York City and spanning more than a century, “Winter’s Tale” is a story of miracles, crossed destinies, and the age-old battle between good and evil.
Yeah, what I said.
Starring Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Jennifer Connelly, William Hurt, Eva Marie Saint, Russell Crowe, Ripley Sobo, and Mckayla Twiggs. Will Smith may or may also not be in this movie. If he is, then it’s a pretty small role, because they’re not even showing him in the trailer.
The travelin’ man arrives next year February 14, 2014. Hey, that’s Valentine’s Day! A romantic fairy tale movie opening on Valentine’s Day? What a coincidence!
