A revenge flick about a surgeon who goes searching for the unscrupulous miscreants that raped his daughter, you say? Count me in. Indie Wire recently got their hands on the teaser poster for controversial director Pedro Almodovar’s upcoming thriller “The Skin I Inhabit”, which stars Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya and Marisa Paredes. As a fan of both “Live Flesh” and “Bad Education”, I’m curious to see how the director tackles this potentially uncomfortable subject matter. I’m hoping it’s as brutal as it is artsy. Sony Picture Classics has acquired the title for distribution, so hopefully I’ll be able to investigate the picture very shortly. The aforementioned artwork rests below.
