Last night, instead of a new episode of ABC’s “Agents of SHIELD,” the network showed off a Marvel extravaganza pimping the rest of the studio’s Phase 2 line-up, which will be capping off with “The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron” later next year.
There were some pretty nice footage from the Joss Whedon movie, and we got glimpses of a couple of highly anticipated characters, including Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch (to be played by Aaron Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen), in concept artwork form that Marvel has now officially released:
And oh, look, is that Iron Man in his Hulkbuster suit going mano-a-mano with the Hulk? (via MTV)
But Hulk will eventually come around, because it looks like he and the Black Widow do some teaming up in the sequel, too:
Marvel has also released some more concept artwork from “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Ant-Man,” though I’m not sure if there’s anything new in the “Ant-Man” stuff. Looks like just screenshots from the Edgar Wright test footage he shot for Comic Con a few years back. But take a look anyway, take a lookers.
