Corey Feldman says Corey Haim Dropped out of Lost Boys 2

Did he or didn’t he? Was it a Visa thing? A legal thing? Or as Corey Haim’s manager assured us, a “logistics” thing? Or did Warner Bros. not want to be associated with a former child star with problems as long as your arm and mine put together? So many questions, so few answers. Well now there’s one answer: Corey Feldman has reached out to MTV and given his take on the news that Haim is no longer in the Lost Boys sequel, a “rumor” that has since been confirmed when Warner Bros. released their official press release for the movie, and never mentioned Haim or his character from the original even once.
Here’s what Feldman said in a statement to MTV:
“I feel that I need to address some of the statements that have been made in reference to Corey Haim’s and my friendship and his participation in “˜Lost Boys 2 – The Tribe.’ I have always considered Corey Haim a brother and dear friend and have always been there for him. Although I am deeply saddened that he has decided not to participate in “˜Lost Boys 2,’ it was strictly his decision. For the record, I was not willing to go forward with any production or deal until I was assured that Corey Haim was onboard. I received confirmation from my representation that Haim had announced that he was officially attached to “˜Lost Boys 2.’
“After starting production in Vancouver, I learned that Haim had chosen to pull out of the project. The reasons for his decisions are his and his alone. Although I am saddened by Haim’s departure, I am enjoying working on the film and am very excited about working with my Frog Brother Jamison Newlander and to carry the torch forward. I am very proud to be part of this highly anticipated sequel for Warner Bros. and feel confident that we are making a film that the fans will welcome as a complimentary addition to the franchise.”
You know, after the crap the Coreys pulled on their A&E Reality TV show, I don’t know if I can trust any one of these guys. Then again, is there ANYONE out there who isn’t going to go see the Lost Boys sequel because one or two or none of the Coreys are in it?

Haim didn’t back out…he couldn’t say his lines (cause he was too high) and got bounced out by Warner Brothers. He wanted to do the movie so bad he was about to pee himself.
Haim needs years of therapy with honesty on his part to get better, if not meds. He’s not on meds now, he’s “self-prescribed”.
Feldman is doing fine, minus some borderline p-whipping. He’s just pissed at Haim and really wants to help him.

I loved watching the reality series. I found myself feeling very empathetic toward Corey Haim. Feldman was portrayed as very controlling. Not sure if this is really true or that was that way in the editing.
In the finale, Corey Haim was adamant that he didn’t want Feldman to bring former stars to talk to him. Feldman refused to listen and under the guise of doing it for Haim’s own good, decided to ignore Haim. When Haim got upset that Feldman didn’t listen everyone turned this around and blamed Haim and not Feldman. I think Feldman is fake sometimes and Haim just wants him to be real.
Hang in there Haim, a lot of people are pulling for you and enjoy you on screen but more importantly enjoy you personally. You are the real deal – flaws and all.
That part made me mad also…you and I seem to be the only two who noticed that. Even the therapist should have told Feldman that he was wrong in pursuing this when Haim vehemently said “No”. The therapist seems so enthralled and borderline starstruck with the Feldmans, that she wasn’t doing her job correctly. At least that part of it anyway. Todd Bridges…yeah, when the time was right, who better to teach…but Paulie Shore? Paulie even critiquing the way Haim knocks on the door?. WHAT? C’mon Feldman you’re “controlling” is a positive thing and needs to be done for his own good, but this was way out of line.
I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY: SUSIE FELDMAN IS THE BIGGEST DOUCHE EVER. HAVING WATCHED THE SHOW I CAN SAY THAT SHE IS A MEGA BITCH AND IS JUST THAT: A DOG. THIS WAS FURTHER VERIFIED WHEN MY BOYFRIEND SHOWED ME HER PICTURES IN PLAYBOY AND I SEEN HER NASTY USED UP HANGING TO THE GROUND CROTCH. LOL NASTY I KNOW I LAUGHED SO LONG IT WAS FUNNY, MY BOYFRIEND SAID IT WAS THE GROSSEST SPREAD HE’S SEEN IN THERE BEFORE AND HE’S A SUBSCRIBER. I MUST SAY THE ONLY THING NICE I CAN SAY IS SHE HAS A DECENT BREAST AUGMENTATION. FURTHER MORE COREY FELDMAN IS A PUSSY CAUSE IN HIS EYES HIS WIFE IS NEVER WRONG & THEY DESERVE EACH OTHER THE MEGA DOUCHE AND THE GIANT PUSSY. I found myself hooked on this show, and I don’t normally watch t.v. I’m 33 and used to watch the Corey’s back in the day. I’ll have to admit I am more of a Haim fan. I just watched the latest show and really found myself angry at Feldman and his crew. I can see why Haim felt ganged up on. He stated specifically that he didn’t want other people talking to him about his problems. He wanted to try to mend his friendship with Feldman and just wanted some hang out time. Feldman needs to stop trying to fix his friend and just be there for him. Haim will never be like Feldman, so Feldman please lower your perfect expectations. Honestly, I think Haim would be better off finding better friends that appreciate his good qualities. He needs someone that can bring out the best in him, rather than the angry, reactive side. We’re all human, whether we’re famous or not. We all make mistakes, that’s how we learn. My prayers and thoughts are with you Haim.
She may not should have said what she did on camera. However, as one that comes from both sides of the track, she is most likely just looking out for her husband. He is in a heart wrenching situation. It is hard for Feldman to wath Haim go down and it is hard for Suzy to watch Feldman. She has put up with a lot and while she is not raining sympathy on Haim… he is not and should not be her main concern. Haim is going to have to hit bottom and he won’t as long as others are trying to catch him. Before anyone jumps …. I’m not saying this out of meaness….just experience. It is a fact.
Holy crud these people are messed up. Forget Haim’s “Adavan” mental block, the whole group is retarded or something. I laughed when Pauly Shore heard Haim exclaim “why am I here?” and said “why am *I* here?!?”

The whole reality series is obviously staged. The whole point of the show is to make us forget of the ‘two Coreys’. It sure seems to have worked with some of you guys.
But, what about Corey Haim? Will this be a career ending move? I doubt it. People in the industry will recognize that it was scripted. Besides, there is no such thing as bad publicity anymore. Case in point: he’s got a new movie coming out soon and he’s on set in Toronto for another one.
