Cover Art For D.C.’s Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD Movie

They’ve been branded public enemies and survived, but now D.C. superheroes Superman and Batman’s next foe on DVD will be … Darkseid and those very, very bad boys from Apokolips.

D.C.’s latest entry into their ever-expanding and highly lucrative direct-to-DVD animated division is “Batman/Superman: Apocalypse”, and you can check out the cover for the upcoming DVD below (via Newsrama).

The film arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 28, 2010. The storyline will be based on a Jeph Loeb story, and will feature a Green Arrow short film.

    That is some sweet cover art by one of my favorite artists right now, Clayton Crain. Normally he does creepy stuff, but that is some great stuff . Also silightly influenced by Michael Turner it looks like, which is awesome cause with Supergirl on the cover it looks like we'll get some of the “Supergirl from Krypton” story arc done by Turner. Yes that's Supergirl on the bottom…after she's influenced by Darkseid (Hence the spike collar LoL).
