If you’re wondering what the real-life people whose story is being told in James Wan’s “The Conjuring” think of the movie, I think it’s safe to say that they approve. Otherwise they probably wouldn’t have shown up in this latest trailer for the film talking about their experiences. Of course, they could have just been paid a nice check. Still, it’s an interesting (and pretty effective) way to sell a movie. Check out a new, even creepier trailer for Wan’s “The Conjuring”.
Seriously, whenever I think this movie’s trailers can’t possibly add anything new to the creep factor, it goes and proves me wrong.
Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
Starring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver, and Sterling Jerins.
Scaring the crap out of you this July 19th.
