I mean, if that headline doesn’t make you immediately jump to the trailer, then perhaps you’re reading the wrong article. Yes, this is probably just another low-budget erotic gore flick from a country obsessed with low-budget erotic gore flicks, but I think this one looks a little better than most. Don’t let the clip’s slow start fool you; there’s mayhem aplenty stuffed towards the bottom of the trailer, so be patient and wait it out. Trust me: there will be gushy crotches.

We should all take a moment to study this synopsis:

There is a Japanese style inn located in an out-of-the-way area near Mount Fuji. No one knows if it’s in business or not, but the inn is owned by two people: the expressionless host, and his bewitching daughter. The host lures six patrons to stay at his inn for one night. All the guests feel the inn has an odd feel to it, but none of them pays attention to it in particular. In reality, the host and his daughter have a hidden agenda. They are hunting in order to feed the host’s son: a huge living zombie hidden away in a locked room, whom these cruel hunters dote on as if he were still part of the family. A twisted tale illustrating conflicts of consciousness, cold-blooded insanity, and the depths one will sink to for the love of one’s family is about to begin.

“Killer Motel”, which stars Itou Emi, Hoshino Akari, Ayase Ren, Maeda Yuuki, Jordan Chan, Sora, and Nakazato Junko, opened in Japanese theaters on July 21st, 2012. Is a theater near you carrying the flick? Then you should probably be purchasing a ticket right about now. The rest of us will amuse ourselves with the goodies embedded below. Psst: they’re not safe for work.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
