Seriously, no wonder they’re moving forward on a “Despicable Me” movie focusing entirely on the minions. These things are friggin’ cute. Sigh. Anyways, check out the second trailer for “Despicable Me 2”, which apparently finds the least villainous villain of them all being recruited to help stop an even bigger villain.
Seriously, this movie is going to make a mint when it opens. All they have to do is plaster those yellow buggers on everything including the TV spots and kids will be hopping all over their parents to go see this thing. I don’t think it even matters what the plot is.
Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s worldwide blockbuster, Despicable Me, delighted audiences around the globe in 2010, grossing more than $540 million and becoming the 10th-biggest animated motion picture in U.S. history. In Summer 2013, get ready for more minion madness in Despicable Me 2. Chris Meledandri and his acclaimed filmmaking team create an all-new comedy animated adventure featuring the return of Gru (Steve Carell), the girls, the unpredictably hilarious minions…and a host of new and outrageously funny characters.
Featuring the voices of Steve Carrell, Al Pacino, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Russell Brand, Moises Arias, Elsie Kate Fisher, and Dana Gaier.
The cuteness strikes this July 3, 2013.
