They bettter make another one. this is, in my opinion the best zombie movie ever made. maybe they’ll bring in H1N1 lol make it a super epidemic… but seriously this film is golden. the problem with the second one was how long it took for something to happen. literally the first half of the movie was talking…. thats not really an action/suspense/zombie movie. the next one will come one day. maybe in 2 years, maybe in 10, but it will come. it better be amazing.

well, i have an extremely good idea for a sequel, obviously it is a very basic storyline and unpatented, i would like very much to speak to boyle for his opinions, personally i think he would find the idea absolutely amazing and would probably be inspired to create this film, if anyone who has contacts reads this, could u please refer me to a website with one of the writers adresses, or their agents, i would like to get this basic storyline i have formulated across to danny, or alex garland (writer of days later)

Dear Boyle, u seriously needa come out with another movie that continues the 28 weeks later movie.im sure the box office didnt rack in the the greatest amount of change, but man there are alot of folks out there like myself who truly love these type of movies. u have truly taken “zombie” movies to another level, a more of a realistic level, something that might actually happen, especially with the way the govt and their scientists experiment with stuff. your movies arent the typical dead zombies barely walking around posing mild threats. they’re people infected with “rage” which is scary as hell!! i could go on all day, but please please please consider making another!!!!!

Well now just to add my not inconsiderable opinion….

28 Days later was a good original take on the zombie franchise. It had a good plot, it allowed us a breathtaking image of the depths humanity can sink to, and for those of you who simply wished for guts and gore 28 Days provided for all.

28 Weeks on the other hand, (while it had promise), simply lacked the true “re-play” value of its predecessor. It was riddled with plot holes, some of which were minor, some of which were huge. The acting was, for the most part superb, however the lack of any well written dialogue, (the movie contained hardly any speaking at all. Plenty of screaming, but not much speaking), caused me to quickly grow bored.

The “heart pounding” moments quickly became predictable and the constant forced suspense created an air of unrealistic tension that failed to hold the eye.

The Golden rules are:
A single movie can be good.
Sequels are bad copies of the original. (For the most part)
(Original) Trilogy’s are usually worth watching. (I stress original because as we saw with the newest Star Wars trilogy this rule is not set in stone).
And finally a movie series that extends beyond three movies is either a cult movie, (The Godfather series), a major hit, (The Aliens series), or an utter flop, (The rather pathetic SAW series).

There are always those movies that are made, have a sequel made and then have a third movie forced upon them. This type of movie series was not planned out from the beginning to be a series and as such will almost always fail.

At any rate I expect to get many rather sad and pathetic comments back from the obviously illiterate and childish Internet community, so let me respond in advance.

28 Weeks Later sucked. It wasn’t Danny Boyle, he merely directed the opening siege scene, the prologue, if you will, to “Weeks’” storyline, and the rest was low-standard drivel where the big plotline was guessed as soon as we saw that bloody kid’s eyes.

If there is to be a “Months”, In say, big budget, gove Boyle complete control, no awful bogstandard Hollywood plot.

i just wacthed 28 weeks it was not as good as 28 days ,but still the best horror ever. if the third one will be in russia the “infected” will be the only people to conquer russia .if hittler,neopoloen or ghengis khan could not do it why could zombies . does any body know if the are immune to the cold?

The only bad thing with 28 weeks later was that there weren’t many encounters with the infected.
Also for some reason if you see a bunch of infected getting sniped it doesn’t get THAT exciting, its way better when its face to face. Of course there has to be some mass infection in the sequel(if its France). I liked 28 days later better,but regardless 28 weeks later was great.

i would be psyched to see a 28 sequel! being set in russia could be a breath of fresh air for the series, as long as they revive some characters. maybe the new tough, hardened Jim could meet Andy somewhere and stick together while they make their way to safety in Russia and to find a cure for the virus or something..

wat if the boy was good or he could hav been playing in act had become out of control of the virus and since hes the youngest would mean he would have a stronger source of the rage virus. an wat happened if there knowledge did expand or the virus had adapted to water or airbourne abilitys.there could hav been a human who was at the back of the helicopter an started to attack andys sister tammy witch she spreaded to the pilot an made him crash. because tammy might not have invulrebility to the rage virus
