actually deadpool didnt get his disfiguredness, insaneness, and costume until after weapon X because he was experimented on when he got tossed into a prison lab.

well if you must know he didn’t pull it off. Not his fault though, they just took the Deadpool character, bashed it in with a hammer and crammed it in a broken story. Plus his characters in Van Wilder was not Deadpool. That was lighthearted. Crude, but still lighthearted.

Well, disfigured or not, hes always had a holo-projector to hide it.
As for a lightly humored pretty boy, have you ever seen blade 3 or van wilder? His characters in those movies are pretty much Deadpool, okay maybe less insane versions but he can definitely pull it off

I think what they did to the Deadpool Character in the upcoming movie Xmen-Origin is messed up. First of all Deadpool was known for being a Technology Hero. However in the upcoming movie I think its messed up that he is a pool of blood from a bunch of mutants that was captured from Col. Striker injected with admentium to make a more perfect story. Where the Hell is Stan Lee on that one.

Doubtful if they’ll go the disfigured route in Wolverine. I’m guessing they’ll want to hold onto Reynolds’ good looks for as long as possible. They’ll probably end up making him an anti-hero like they did with Elektra would be my guess. That is, if he ends up with his own movie.
