And Then You Die (2012) Movie Poster

When we’re having an incredibly bad day, most of us just go home and cry about it while hugging a tattered teddy bear covered in decades worth of sad, lonely tears. I mean, er, we have a beer and shake our tiny fists at the world, bottom lip extended in an absurdly dramatic fashion. Although, deep down, we’d love to take out our aggressions on the sources of misery, the majority of the population keeps their homicidal tendencies under lock and key. Writer/director Daniel Murphy and HM&M Films’ upcoming horror flick “…And Then You Die!” explores what happens when someone with nothing left to lose decides to unleash his unbridled fury upon mankind. As you can imagine, lots of bloody murder promptly ensues.

Specifically, here’s what the film is all about:

Ever have one of those days where nothing goes right and everything falls apart, everyone is out to get you and there isn’t a damn thing you can do….or is there! Life’s a bitch!…And then YOU die! A movie about revenge, punishment & showing everyone who screws up your life, that PAYBACKS A BITCH! Follow Sam Wallace as he has the worst day of his entire life! Pray you weren’t one of those people who messed up his day or his life, because he is coming back for revenge!

“…And Then You Die!”, which stars Chuck Smith, Christopher Hunt, and Ellie Church, will hopefully find its way into your neck of the haunted forest sometime soon. In the meanwhile, have a look at the trailer below. It’s not safe for work, mind you, so be sure your boss is far, far away from your desk before checking it out in the office. Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
