Three Clips from Jodie Foster’s The Beaver

Three clips from Jodie Foster’s “The Beaver”, which I hear tell did gangbuster business over at SXSW. Apparently people over there could find it in their hearts to see past the star’s, shall we say, personal issues and take the film for what it is. Go figure.

Two-time Academy Award(R) winner Jodie Foster directs and co-stars with two-time Academy Award(R) winner Mel Gibson in THE BEAVER – an emotional story about a man on a journey to re-discover his family and re-start his life. Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can’t seem to get himself back on track…until a beaver hand puppet enters his life.

Starring Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, Anton Yelchin, Jennifer Lawrence, Cherry Jones, Zachary Booth, Riley Thomas Stewart and directed by Jodie Foster.

Catch the beaver March 23, 2011.

From these clips I have a feeling Yelchin’s acting is going to be painful to watch. But I can’t wait to see Mel Gibson reminding everyone once again that he is one of the most talented people in Hollywood!
