Diora Baird in Thor? We Wish.

Chances are model turned actress Diora Baird won’t get a role in Marvel Studio’s upcoming “Thor”, but even if she did land one, it wouldn’t be a big enough role to warrant a credit in the title sequences. Or maybe she’ll end up on the cutting room floor, as she did in the recent “Star Trek”. Of course, that won’t stop Diora Baird’s managers and agents (or “peeps”, as the kids call them) from selling her to the lad’s mags as “the hot chick from the Thor movie”, which is definitely not a bad thing because, duh, Diora Baird is kinda hot.

So what’s the point in typing all of the above? Well the underground dwelling boyos at CHUD uncovered a tweet by the model-actress saying she had recently gone in for a “Thor” addition, though when prodded for more info, she wouldn’t say what the role was.

But since Natalie Portman has already nabbed the leading lady role of nurse Jane Foster, and Baird herself describes the role as “‘pretty, but sturdy with muscle”, we’re going to assume it’s an Asgardian warrior babe, perhaps even the one previously linked to Jessica Biel?

Now does Diora Baird look like an Asgardian babe to you? Oh who are we kidding. As long as she takes back that restraining order, we’ll say yes to any role Diora Baird wants to play.
