“The Human Centipede (Full Sequence)” was recently banned in Britain, which is an accomplishment in an of itself. However, director Tom Six claims that the third installment of his infamous trilogy will make the first sequel “look like a Disney film.” Those are strong words, given how much unadulterated depravity is rumored to take place in the insanely controversial follow-up. How he plans to achieve such madness remains to be seen.
Specifically, Six had this to say about number three:
We’re going to shoot the third film entirely in America and it’s going to be my favourite. It’s going to upset a lot of people.
Additionally, Six also confirmed that “The Human Centipede 3” will be the last installment in the series, with absolutely no hope for a fourth. I’ve heard talk like that before, so it’s probably best to never say never. Because, you know, when the rent is due and the bank account is dry, sometimes these words can pop out and bite you squarely on the ass. Despite all of this ballyhooing, one question remains: When will the world see “The Human Centipede (Full Sequence)”?
Soon, I hope.
UPDATE: According to our intrepid reader Dominique Hatcher, I’ve learned that IFC Entertainment is set to release the sequel on October 7th, 2011. Thanks for the info!
