Director Tsai Yueh-Hsun’s Action/Comedy Black & White: Part 1 Lands a New Trailer

I haven’t heard much buzz about director Tsai Yueh-Hsun’s crime/comedy “Black & White: Part 1″, a movie about a cop and a crook who join forces to uncover a conspiracy. I know what you’re getting ready to say, and I totally agree with you. “Hasn’t this premise been used countless times before? Are you getting tired of the same old buddy comedy?” Truthfully, I can openly consume buddy flicks until bad things start happening to my brain. Like monster movies and poorly-dubbed kung fu films, buddy pictures are endearing to me, even when they’re rancid. If you this tells you anything, I really enjoy “Tango & Cash”, and not in an ironic way.

In order to prepare the planet for inevitable arrival of “Black & White: Part 1″, a trailer, as well as a series of posters and images, have been released to the public. You can find all of this snazzy promotional material embedded below. If you live in mainland China, look for the film to hit theaters on June 21st, 2012. The rest of the world, I’m afraid, may have to wait a while. Depending on its international appeal, maybe a very long while.
